Texts with pictograms, accessible to every student
farmer
cow
milk
hen
egg
tractor
For teachers, speech therapists and families of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, have a disability or use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Work in projects: each text gives its words with pictograms, sheets to read and print, and a vocabulary every student adds to from one project to the next.
It's free. All it takes is your email.
The worksheet
Write, and every key word gets its pictogram
A text from the classroom, with ARASAAC's pictogram over every key word. Choose how it looks: the Fitzgerald key's colours, all in capitals, black and white, the size of the drawings.
Demonstration: the worksheet editor, with the farm's text and a pictogram over each key word. The buttons change how it looks.
The farmer leaves the house while it is still dark and goes to milk the cow. Warm milk fills the bucket. The hens are already clucking: every morning there are new eggs in the straw. Then the farmer climbs onto the tractor and drives to the field.
On paper
Everything ready to print
Sheets of words and of sentences, every pictogram as an image, and games made from the same words.
Demonstration: the game “Match up” made from the farm's words, ready to print: the drawings down the left and the words, mixed, down the right.

Memory
Every word twice, to cut out and turn face down.

Bingo
Different boards with the words, and the cards to call out.

Word search
The words hidden in the grid, with the drawings as clues.

Board game
A track with the drawings: whoever lands on one says the word or makes a sentence.

Fill the gap
Each sentence misses a pictogram; below, three to choose the right one from.
- And many more games
The student
A vocabulary that grows with each student
A student's vocabulary is the sum of the projects they work on. The words they already know keep the pictogram they know, and the new ones stand out at a glance.

Signs
In testingThe sign beside the pictogram
We're drawing a collection of LSC and LSE signs that keeps on growing. If your centre signs, every word that already has one shows its sign beside the pictogram, on screen and on paper. It's in testing: not every word has its sign yet.
hello
thank you
how are you?
I love you
